Lock Texas A&M (-7.5) v. South Carolina  The Aggies have some momentum after their overtime win against Arkansas. This game is a lock, no analysis needed. Love Iowa ML @ Michigan State  Iowa bounces back from a heart-breaker last weekend with a solid win on the road. MSUs leading rusher is their QB, Brian Lewerke, and Iowa plays too sound of defense to let him beat them with his legs. Iowa by 10. Minnesota (-13.5) v. Maryland Maryland is currently on their 4th string QB, who struggled to complete a pass last week when coming in for an injured Kasim Hill. I see more of the same this week especially on the road. On top of that the Gophers seem to have found a rhythm on offense, scoring more than 30 points in their last two contests. Gophers in a blowout. Wisconsin (-15.5) v. Northwestern  Wisconsin has only let up 90.7 rush yards per game this season, meaning that the Badgers will neutralize Northwestern's only offensive threat, Justin Jackson. On the o...

Lock Oklahoma (-28) @ Baylor Home field wont matter at all here as Sooner fans will take over Waco. Baker Mayfield is looking to stay in the Heisman race and the Sooners are looking to impress for the playoff committee, they'll run up the score in this one. Love Auburn (-18) @ Missouri Missouri is letting up 442.7 yards per game, 102nd in the nation. Auburn seemed to struggle last week against Mercer after a valiant effort against Clemson the week prior. Auburn will bounce back and light up the scoreboard, Kamryn Pettway will go for 200+ yards. Iowa (+12.5) v. Penn State  It will be an electric home crowd for the Hawkeyes. Iowa plays sound defense and can slow down Penn State's rushing attack. Nate Stanley has also been a pleasant surprise with 10 TDs and just 1 INT. Iowa will pound the rock with Akrum Wadley and keep this game close. Like Notre Dame (-3.5) @ Michigan State  Notre Dame has looked pretty good this year with their only lose coming by ...

PGA: TOUR Championship – 9/21-9/24

East Lake CC Atlanta, GA Field- Final 30 golfers remaining in the FedEx Cup Playoffs This week is the final week of fantasy golf and it might possibly be the hardest week to judge due to the small field. Most weeks the key to winning daily fantasy is finding a diamond in the rough or a lower value guy that make the cut and scores close to the top 10. However, this week I’d recommend spending the money and buying some of the Top Tier guys. You are going to want to get some guys that can possibly win the FedEx cup by winning at East Lake. The last 3 champions of the TOUR Championship (McIlroy, Spieth, Horschel) all have been in the top 5 of the FedEx cup heading into the final week of the Playoffs. Several keys to winning at East Lake that you might want to keep in mind when choosing your lineup this week. ·          Strokes gained tee to green ·          Driving accuracy % ·   ...

Locks: Oregon -14.5 @ Wyoming The Oregon defense made Tanner Lee and the Nebraska offense uncomfortable last weekend and will do the same to Josh Allen. Allen has struggled against Power 5 schools in the past and that will continue. The Oregon offense looks like it has taken a huge step from 2016 with Justin Herbert. Last week Oregon also let off the brakes against Nebraska and will have learned their lesson going into Laramie. Washington State -21.5 v. Oregon State Oregon State let up 48 points to Minnesota in Corvallis and has let up 483.7 yards per game. Now the Beavers have to travel to Pullman with their two starting corners out with injuries and without starting safety Jalen Moore for the first half because of a suspension; not a good recipe when mixed with the Pirates's Air Raid Attack. Love: North Texas +22 @ Iowa North Texas let up four touchdowns to Courtland Sutton last weekend, the good news is Iowa doesn't have a receiver of Courtland Suttons' calib...

Saturday Smorgasbord

Welcome to the weekly Saturday Smorgasbord, your weekly one stop shop for all things NCAAF, NFL, and MLB. I'll give 4-5 picks each week that I've studied and feel comfortable puting my mortgage on. So here it is...... NCAAF -UCLA(-2.5) This bruins team led by Josh Rosen is just too high powered and talented to not cover this tight spread. The Memphis defense is nothing to forget, but UCLA pulls away late. -Nebraska vs N. Illinois over 56 See Nebraska's defense. Make your money, thank me later. Next..... -Tennessee(+4) It's not that I love this Vols team, but rather a lack of confidence in anything Florida wants to do on Offense. I think it's a tough sledding SEC type game with potentially Florida winning by a FG, take the points. NFL -Atlanta(-2.5) Matt Ryan and Julio have a day picking apart this Green Bay defense. A close game, home field is big in this one with the Falcons being so good at home. MLB Cubs(ML) - Coming off an impressive win on ...

BMW Championship Hosted at Conway Farms (Lake Forest, Illinois)

Albatross Kevin Chappell: +6,000 Outright Winner After qualifying for his first President’s Cup and representing America, Kevin Chappell has taken this week’s long shot for the outright winner. It’s often easy to look at the odds for the field and imagine what you could do with $3,000 on a $10 bet when Wesley Bryan trick shots his way to victory. However, Kevin Chappell is a perfect pick at 60/1, as he is trying to prove why he deserves to be on team USA and payback for slipping in last year’s Tour Championship. Most people prefer Church’s Chicken on Sundays, but I’ll take Chappell at the Farm. Eagle Paul Casey: +2,500 First Round Leader What’s not to like about a top 10 scorer this year, solid iron play throughout the first two rounds of the FedEx cup, and a caddy who rocks Jordans on the course. Paul Casey has not lived up to his incredibly overhyped statistics on the Tiger Woods video game series, but has made quite the splash since coming from over the pond. Case...

Lines I like for this week: we'll have analysis on each pick starting next week and on.  Buffalo +15.5 @ Army  Iowa -3.5 @ Iowa State  TCU @ Arkansas Over 58.5 Boise State @ Washington St Over 59 UCLA -24.5 v. Hawaii  Clemson -5 v. Auburn  "Upset" Alert  Georgia will beat Notre Dame straight up (+170) Minnesota ML @ Oregon State (+120)

Saturday 9/2/2017 - Football is back

Lock: Georgia -15 v. Appalachian State  - App State has played big time programs tough in the past, including taking Tennessee to OT in last season's opener. But Jacob Eason with a year under his belt and the 1-2 punch of Chubb and Michel will be too much for App State to handle, especially between the hedges. Love: Louisville (N) -25 v. Purdue (N) - Louisville will be looking to bounce back from their end of the year struggles in 2016. The Boilermakers let up 38.3 points per game and 240 rushing yards per game in a conference not particularly known for explosive offense, not a great combination when the reigning Heisman winner is across the line of scrimmage. Vanderbilt -3 @ Middle Tennessee State - Home field shouldn't be a huge factor as the Dores will not have to leave the state. They return a solid running game and will be able to run wild against a team who's starting defensive tackles are both below 260 pounds. Like: Nebraska -15 v. Arkansas State  - I...
